@ 1149 The sorcerers recognize the greatness of the miracles and fall prostrate in belief despite their sentence to death 26:45-51
26:45 Then Moses cast down his staff and it swallowed up their lying invention,
# فَأَلْقَى مُوسَى عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ 45
26:46 so the sorcerers were cast down, prostrating themselves,
# فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ 46
26:47 saying, 'We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,
# قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ العَالَمِينَ 47
26:48 the Lord of Moses and Aaron.'
# رَبِّ مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ 48
26:49 He (Pharaoh) said, 'You have believed him before I have given you permission. He is the chief of you who has taught you sorcery. But you shall know. I will surely cut off on opposite sides a hand and a foot, and crucify you all.'
# قَالَ آمَنتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ إِنَّهُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ لأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلافٍ وَلأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ 49
26:50 'There is no harm, ' they replied, 'for surely to our Lord we are turning.
# قَالُوا لاَ ضَيْرَ إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ 50
26:51 We are eager that Our Lord should forgive us our offenses, for we are the first of the believers.'
# إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا أَن كُنَّا أَوَّلَ المُؤْمِنِينَ 51
